Disidente is one of the most unlikely success stories of underground Latinoamerican rock.
Disidente melt loud and heavy guitars with emotional melodies then Disidente's songs are a mix of punk atitude and sensibility with a sharp sense of rock songwriting.

They have released two albums and in addition to their recorded output, Disidente has released a live concert documentary film/video called "Fin del mundo en un dia normal" <br><br>

"we feel that what we play and what we say isn’t tied down to one place, and that our view of the world is shared by people everywhere. Therefore everywhere is where we will be".

Playing alongside a number of great and diverse bands (Cafe tacvba, Molotov, Cuca, Attaque 77, Babasonicos, The Sounds, The Mars Volta, The bravery, Incubus and Smashing Pumpkins just to name a few) they showed their ability to excite different crowds from one night to the other.
The intention to play "in front of everyone all of the time" proved to be more than talk.
